A FIREMANS PRAYER

When i am called to duty God, whenever flame may rage, give me strength to save some life whatever its age. Help me embrace a little child before it is too late or save an older person from the horror of fate. Enable me to be alert and hear the faintest shout and quickly and effectively put the fire out. I want to fulfil my calling and give the best in me to guard my neighbour and protect his/her property from destruction. If according to your will i have to loose my life,God bless my family and friends with your protecting hands. AMEN
